Melanie Susan Petty, 59 of Standish passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 5, 2022 with her family by her side.
She was a loving mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. Melanie was born on September 6, 1962 to the late James and Francis (Fortenberry) Petty.
She is survived by her two children: Jeremy Carson and Sarah Pieniozek and her two grandchildren, Carson and Kyak Pieniozek. Melanie is also survived by her sisters, Earlene (Larry) Foster, Phyllis (John) Tremble and Bonnie (Chester) Krystyniak along with may nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. At Melanie’s request cremation has taken place and no service is panned at this time. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home-Standish Chapel.
