Darlene Moreau, 75, of St. Helen

Darlene (LaPage) Moreau passed away, Wednesday June 14, 2022, unexpectedly. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on July 18th, 1946, to the late Percy and Josephine (Dufresne) LaPage. She had resided with her life companion, Raymond Spiker in St. Helen until his passing. Darlene will be remembered for her passion of bingo. She enjoyed thrift shopping, cooking, baking cookies with the grand kids and being with family. She was a member of St Helen VFW post 5680, where she helped with fund raising.  

She is survived by Dawn (Scott) Anderson, Will (Gale) Moreau, Barbara Griffin, Kenneth Moreau II, Paul (Angela) Moreau, Leah (Jeff) Bradley. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, sister Rose Maggart, brothers Ray and Alan LaPage, Ray Spiker’s children, Cindy Spiker, Ray (Betty) Spiker, Melissa Miller, Don (Jody) Spiker, Christal (Edward) Williams. She was preceded in death by her life companion, Ray Spiker, parents Percy and Josephine LaPage and sister Sherry Kwiatkowski. 

Special mention to Jeff Jr., Cory, Bryan, Monique, Rozina, and Zach who took excellent care of their grandmother. Also, friends Harry and Janine Mead. 

Visitation was held Friday, June 17, 2022 at Rivertown Funeral Chapel, Kawkawlin, Michigan.
