Dale Clinton Brumfield passed away on June 24, 2022.
He was born on June 7, 1929, in Toledo, OH to Denver G. and Ruth N. ( Scofield) Brumfield. Dale married Betty Jane Cartlidge in 1947 and recently celebrated 74 years of marriage.
By trade, Dale was a mason. He enjoyed hunting and dancing an occasional polka. Dale resided both in Hale, MI and Satellite Beach, FL.
He was president of the school board for Hale Area Schools, an active member of the Iosco County School Board, and a member of the United Methodist Church. He performed and sang in local Hale programs.
He is survived by the love of his life Betty, his children; Michael (Charlene) Brumfield, Penny (Bruce)) Hewitt, Steven Brumfield, David (Debra) Brumfield, Tom (Debra) Brumfield, and Judy Scherrer; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister; Ruth Ann Phifer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Bolman.
