Beverly Malenfant, 80, of Houghton Lake

Beverly H. Malenfant, age 80, of Houghton Lake passed away on Sunday June 12, 2022 at Grayling Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.

Beverly was born on June 28, 1941 in Pontiac, Michigan to Norris and Florence (Cumberworth) Smith. She worked at Whiteheads Restaurant for many years. Beverly was married on January 28, 1998 in Kissimmee, Florida to Earl R. Malenfant. She moved back to Houghton Lake in 2014. Beverly enjoyed going dancing with her sister Peggy. She also loved playing keyboard and guitar at her home church in Florida.

Beverly is survived by her loving children; Ronald Liebisch of Houghton Lake, Lori Card of Bridgeport, Michael (Angie) Liebisch of Florida, Kimberly Carr of Florida and James (Michele) Buchanan of Grand Rapids, eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, sister; Dorothy Kent of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; Earl R. Malenfant and seven siblings.  

Funeral Services for Beverly H. Malenfant will be conducted at 2 pm on Thursday June 23, 2022 from Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel with Rev. Bryan Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 23, 2022 from 12 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
