Vickie Koczman, 67, of Prescott

Vickie Lynn Koczman (Cronenwett), age 67, passed away unexpectedly May 24, 2022. She was born January 28, 1955 in Norfolk, Virginia.

She graduated from Ida High School, and retired as an Administrator from the Monroe County Clerks office in 2012. Vickie and Sam Tickle enjoyed 21 years together and relocated to their up north cabin in Prescott, MI to enjoy their retirement.


Vickie enjoyed spending time with Sam and all of their children and grandchildren. She loved to cook different foods for herself, Sam and family or friends that visited. She could strike up a conversation with anyone and would regularly check in on family, friends and neighbors. She enjoyed landscaping, working in her flowerbeds, listening to music, joking around with her grandkids, and crafting in the craft shed that Sam built for her.


Vickie is survived by her significant other, Sam Tickle, daughter Rachel (Mike) Kolar, son Bill (Valerie) Koczman, grandchildren Emily Koczman, Olivia and Jacob Kolar, father Duane (Shirley) Cronenwett, sister Gail Parrish, stepbrother Dustin Diehl, nephew Jarod (Faith) Stone. Sam’s children Jennifer (Sam) Ourlian, Sam Tickle Jr. and Crystal Tickle. Sam’s grandchildren Gracie and Gavin Ourlian, Shelby Pratt, Samantha and Skyla Tickle, Brayden Stiffler, Addison Hutton, Austin, Trevor and Allysia Yarbrough and a great grandson, Miles. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lola Diehl of Monroe, MI and her brother, Steve Earles of Monroe, MI.


Funeral arrangements were handled by Buresh Funeral Home, Tawas MI. A date for her celebration of life has not been set. Arrangements will be shared with family and friends at a later time.
