Robert Johnson, 87, of Gladwin, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022, in Valdosta, Georgia.
He was born on August 30, 1934, the son of Glenn and Vera (Scutt) Johnson in Ashley. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for over 20 years of dedicated service.
On December 29, 1980, he was united in marriage to Judith L. Case in Ithaca. Together they loved spending winters in the warm weather of Georgia, but loved calling Michigan their home during the summer. Bob loved being outside, sitting by the campfire, and sipping on his morning cups of coffee. He enjoyed their annual family get togethers which started on grandparents day. Bob loved spending time with his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 41 years: Judie Johnson; children: Robert (Naomi) Johnson, Pamela Belknap, Helen (Terry) Lipps, Julie Nieto, Lucinda Simons, and Timothy (Missy) McCarrick; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Beverly Huss, Joan Hugelet, Gail Siebert, and Terry Johnson; along with several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 children: Steve and Dalene; 2 grandchildren: Stacy and Jeff.
Funeral Services for Mr. Johnson will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
