Richard R. Tupiak, age 86, of Prudenville passed away on Saturday May 28, 2022 at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital.
Richard was born on October 10, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Eleanor (Ruth) Tupiak. He served in the US Army. Richard retired from GM. He married Carolynn Silvers on October 13, 1999. The couple moved from Westland to Prudenville in 1998. Richard was a member of the Houghton Lake Eagles and the Houghton Lake Moose. He enjoyed hunting, playing cards, watching wrestling, he especially enjoyed socializing whenever he had the opportunity.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 22 years; Carolynn Tupiak of Prudenville, son; Brian (Heidi) Tupiak of Wixom, daughter; Kimberly Boutsikaris of Yale, step-children; Annmarie Spain of Houghton Lake, William Silver of Lake City and Erick Silver of Westland, several grandchildren, brother; Fred Tupiak of Dearborn Heights and sister, Judy Tupiak of Dearborn Heights. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
