David L. Hegwood, age 66, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at My MidMichigan-Gladwin.
He was born on February 13, 1956 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to the late Everett and Mary (Ledbetter) Hegwood. David married the former Susan Breiner – Esckilsen on July 29, 2000 in Farmington, Michigan. He was a lifetime U of M football enthusiast, enjoyed gardening, and fishing.
David is survived by his wife of 21 years, daughter; Holly (Steven) Perry, step-daughter; Julie Esckilsen, sister; Cheryl Hegwood and Nancy (Peter) Davis, and sister-in-law; Brenda Hegwood. He is also survived by special cousin; Doug (Linda) Ledbetter. David is predeceased by his brother; Dale Hegwood.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service maybe held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
