Rodney Terry McCarty, 74, of Lewiston, passed away on September 11, 2021.
He was born to the late Orville and Juliette (Woodcum) McCarty in Pontiac, Michigan. Rodney married Carol Beck in Pontiac, Michigan on November 6, 1965. He enjoyed times with family spent telling stories and jokes, bird watching, and gardening.
Survived by his wife Carol of 55 years. Children: Brian (Becky) McCarty of Goodrich; Bradley McCarty of Phoenix, AZ; Andrea (Mark) Vess of Ortonville; Carey Cischke of Oxford; and Rodney (Tracy) McCarty of Waterford. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 5 great granddaughters. Brother, Woodrow and sisters, Kathy Moore, Roxanne Greenhoe, and Colleen Pressley as well as several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and sisters Margie, Barbara, and Shelly. A Celebration of Rodney’s Life will be scheduled soon.
