Roy “Chum” Wayne Lovely, 79, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully July 11, 2021.
Chum is survived by his wife Barbara (Brown) Lovely; children Shawn (Andy) Kennedy, Shannon Telly, and Shane (Lillian) Lovely; grandchildren Lauren, Stone, Emma, and Meredith; brother Gerald “Fuzz” Lovely; and several nieces and nephews. Chum is preceded in death by parents Roy Lovely, Sr. and Waver Glendola Lovely and sister Paula Harwood.
Chum was a lifelong resident of Grayling. He loved the great outdoors. One thing he especially enjoyed was riding his boat around Lake Margrethe. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Chum worked and retired through MichCon and DTE. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Chum is going to be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, July 26, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Grayling, MI followed by interment at Elmwood Cemetery and a luncheon at St. Mary’s Parish Hall. Condolences can be shared with family at www.sorensonlockwood.com.
