Gregory Randolph Galliher, 60, of Houghton Lake

Gregory Randolph Galliher, 60, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Sunday May 2, 2021 at home.

Greg was born on June 12, 1960 in Grayling, Michigan to Curtis and Janet (Britten) Galliher. He grew up in the Houghton Lake area, where he attended Houghton Lake Community Schools.  He spent all his life in the Houghton Lake area, working as a mechanic and repairman of anything.  On December 3, 2001 in Roscommon, Greg was married to his long time friend and companion, Cindy A. Gardner. Greg enjoyed spending time with his family and especially with the grandchildren.

Surviving Mr. Galliher are his loving wife of 19 years, Cindy  Galliher of Houghton Lake; three daughters, Summer Valentine of IL, April (Ed) Robar of Saginaw, and Kari (Mark) Valentine of Houghton Lake; son, John Valentine of Cedarville; six grandchildren, including Ethan, and Jordan; mother, Janet Sprague of Prudenville; sister, Kim (Dave) Mcfarlane of Houghton Lake Heights; several nieces and nephews. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Fredrick Galliher, and brother, Jeffrey Joel Galliher. 

At the request of Mr. Galliher there will be no services.  Memorial contributions in memory of Greg are asked to be directed to the family. Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com.
