Betty Crane, age 93, died on Monday April 19, 2021 at her home in Waterford, Michigan, in the presence and comfort of her family.
Betty was born November 14, 1927 in Detroit, the daughter of George and Ruth (Davis) Elioff.
Betty loved the outdoors, whether it was going on a snowmobile trail ride even into her 70s, horseback riding, or boating Higgins Lake with a cold beverage. She also collected Beanie Babies, Budweiser steins, movies, and any other limited collectibles. Most of all, Betty loved to spend time with her family (and German Shepherds), who will remember her for her intense love and fiery temper to anyone who crossed her.
Betty will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Crane of Waterford; sons Edward (Beverly) Crane of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Kevin (Paula) Crane of Waterford and, Brian (Molly) Crane of Metamora, Michigan.
Family and friends will gather at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors on Friday, April 23, from 4 to 6 PM. A funeral service will be held at St. Hubert Catholic Church on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11 AM. The public is required to wear masks and practice social distancing during both the visitation and service.
