Robert Charles Cwick

Robert Charles Cwick, 83, of Roscommon, passed away May 20, 2018 at Munson Medical Center, Traverse City.

Mr. Cwick was born Aug. 17, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to Stanley and Emily (Satula) Cwick. He married Huguette L Leblanc June 22, 1957 in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada.

He resided in Roscommon and Grayling area for many years.

He was a sales engineer for Ohio Crankshaft in Cleveland, OH and their subsidiary, Tocco, in Detroit for many years, retiring in 1986.

He was a member of MENSA. He continued his education to challenge his mind, most recently in physics. He was an avid reader and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, sudoku and crossword puzzles.

Surviving are his wife, Huguette; three children, Jovette (Tom) Houtteman of Highland, David (Lorri) Cwick of Lake Orion and Micheline (Steve) Bauman of Roscommon; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Tom (Lynn) Cwick of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael; granddaughter, Lauren and sister, Marilyn Glivar.

Private services will be held.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’ choice.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon served the family.
