Sylvia Doris Harrison Eckhart of Roscommon

Sylvia Doris Harrison Eckhart, 84, of Roscommon passed away Feb. 16, 2018 at The Lighthouse of Roscommon.

Sylvia was born in Toledo, OH May 2, 1933 to Irving Jennings and Frances Blanche (Thompson) Crabb.

Sylvia was a clerk for the US Postal Service in Toledo.

She attended First Congregational Church, Roscommon.

Sylvia was a 1951 graduate of Waite High School in Toledo and a 1998 graduate of the University of Toledo. She was a red-hatter and enjoyed music, blues singing and community theater.

Surviving are two children, Julie (Ed) Nordquist of Roscommon and David Harrison of Toledo; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her close cousin, Caryl DeHook of Cedar Rapids, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

No services are planned. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery and Arboretum, Toledo, OH.
