Heather Marie Hutek of Howell and Roscommon

Heather Marie Hutek, 45, of Howell passed away Dec. 4, 2017 at home suddenly and unexpectedly.

Heather was born March 8, 1972 in Trenton to David Michael and Karen Elizabeth (Schaff) Hutek.

She resided in Roscommon and Howell.

Heather was a 1990 Graduate of Roscommon High School. She was a proud and avid volunteer for public safety officers, and military organizations and causes particularly being a PTSD warrior and raising awareness for our troops. She proudly wore an American flag pin to remember those who never came back from war, those who returned home missing limbs, and those haunted by the memories of war. She was also an advocate for those who have been through Domestic Violence. She had a few views on life that she would pass along. One is that a grudge is the heaviest thing you can carry and another is that compliments build friendships, gossip destroys them. She was a four time cancer survivor and a single mother.

Surviving are her twins, Adeline Bailey Pavlo and Hayden David Thomas Pavlo and their father, Scott all of Howell; mother, Karen Hutek of Roscommon; siblings, Dennis (Rhonda) Hutek of Roscommon, Daniel Hutek of Avon, CO; Cheri Hutek (significant other, Matt Sullivan) of Roscommon, and Eric (Crystal) Hutek of Southgate; and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, David; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral services were held Dec 16, 2017 at Gerrish Township Hall with Pastor Jim Noggle officiating. Ennichment is at Gerrish Township Columbarium.

Memorial donations may be made to your local public safety offices (police, fire or EMS) or River House Shelter.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon served the family.
