Edward Stephen Langley of Roscommon

Edward Stephen Langley, 59, of Roscommon passed away Oct. 31, 2017 at McLaren Bay Regional Hospital, Bay City.

Ed was born in Saginaw Jan. 24, 1958 to Glenn Arthur and Betty Louise (Burwash) Carlton.

He resided in Roscommon for two years, coming from St. Helen.

Ed was an independent truck driver.

He enjoyed hunting, target shooting, dogs, NASCAR, camping and going to Merritt Speedway.

Surviving are four children, Melissa Langley of St. Helen, Louise (Anthony) Cotterman of Ohio, Catherine Fitzgerald of Bay City, Eddie Langley, Jr. and his fianc+¬e, Jessica Spurlock of Ohio; 10 grandchildren and two on the way; one great-granddaughter; companion, Candy Weller of Roscommon; many step children; brother, Richard (Sue) Langley of Kinross; two sisters, Christine (Ray) Revord of Christmas and Kathy (Bruce) Fournier of Sault Ste. Marie; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Arthur Langley.

Funeral services will be held at St. Helen VFW 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 with John Sutter officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Roscommon County Animal Shelter, 1100 Short Dr., Prudenville, MI 48651.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon is serving the family.
