Marlene Joan Wunderlin of Roscommon

Marlene Joan Wunderlin, 84, of Roscommon passed away Aug. 15, 2017 at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital.

She was born in Wyandotte, July 2, 1933 to Frank and Elizabeth (Solosan) Shuryan. She married Mark C. Wunderlin May 4, 1963 in Wyandotte. She came to Roscommon in 2014 from Watertown, Wisc.

Mrs. Wunderlin was a Registered Nurse at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and hospitals in Wyandotte, Detroit and Chicago. She was a member of St. Hubert Catholic Church, Higgins Lake.

She enjoyed volunteering, was an avid reader and loved her family.

Surviving are her husband, Mark; four children, Eric Wunderlin of Watertown, WI, Jeffery (Dan Haider) Wunderlin of Madison, WI, Lisa (Kyle) Esmeier of Watertown, WI and Matthew (Marcie) Wunderlin of Eagle, WI; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Pauline Shuryan and Sheila (Jon) Frelick; three brothers-in-law, Stanley (Carol) and Wayne (Kris) Wunderlin and Mike Cichocki; three sisters-in-law, Kathleen Schulte, Doris Kitto and Carol Wunderlin; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joseph Mark; and sister, Diane Cichocki.

Funeral services were conducted at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Higgins Lake officiated by Fr. Bernard Tyler.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’ Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis TN 38101-9908.

Walsh Funeral Home is serving the family.
