Gerald ‘Jerry’ Allen Glance

Gerald ‘Jerry’ Allen Glance, 56, of Roscommon passed away July 20, 2017 at his home.

Jerry was born in East Detroit Jan. 28, 1961 to Victor Gerald and Barbara Louise (Krause) Glance. He resided in Roscommon for two years, as well as in Frederic, Gaylord and St. Helen for many years.

Jerry was a laborer for his father at Vic’ Construction in St. Helen. He had attended Roscommon High School. He loved computers, hunting, the Red Wings, the Tigers and motorcycles.

Surviving are his daughter, Heather Glanced and her boyfriend, Cameron Zaldivar both of Allendale; father, Vic (Sandy) Glance of Roscommon; siblings, Bev Rumsey of Roscommon and Michael Glance of Nashville, TN; niece, Cynthia (Sean) Wood of Grayling; nephew, Ryan (Erika) Rumsey of Macomb; five great-nephews; and uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Glance.

A Celebration of Life will be held later.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon is serving the family.
