Frances ‘Pat’ L. Schwarze

Frances ‘Pat’ L. Schwarze, 92, of Houghton Lake passed away on Tuesday July 18, 2017 at Crawford Continuing Care Center in Grayling.

Pat was born on November 11, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles and Pearl (McGinn) Gomand. She married Raymond E. Schwarze on October 16, 1943 in Detroit.

Pat had worked as a nurse’ aide for many years before moving to Prudenville in 1981 from Clawson. She later worked at the Houghton Lake Resorter where she would put the papers together. Pat enjoyed gardening, watching the news and reading.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Karen Williams of Prudenville; son, Raymond ‘Gene’ (Cindy) Schwarze II of Alabama; granddaughter, Sara; great-grandchildren, Justin, Joey, Alexis and Joshua.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond and brother; Charles Gomand Jr.

Per Pat’ wishes cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.

Memorial Contributions in memory of Pat are asked to be directed to the family.
