< >Frankie Lee-Dylan Brown, 17, of Houghton Lake, passed away May 21, 2017 at McLaren Regional Medical Center in West Branch.

< >Frankie was born on August 12, 1999 in Saginaw. He moved to Houghton Lake from Harrison five years ago and was a student at Houghton Lake Community Schools.

< >Mr. Brown was employed by Kilkare and Northern Exposure Landscaping. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his brothers and friends. Frankie’s passion was his Rap music and recorded his own CD.

< >Surviving are his mother, Stacy (Danny) Marcoux of Houghton Lake; aunts Joyce Deveaux and Esmeralda Ramos of Houghton Lake; father, Frankie Brown of Saginaw; six siblings, Jayden Brown, Camren Brown, Akiya Fox, Chase Shank, Taylor Shank, and Iasic Marcoux; and maternal grandmother, Cindy Sherwood of Harrison.

< >Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins; girlfriend, Audrey Ayotte of Houghton Lake; and many friends including his crew.

< >The family will greet friends May 25 at the Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church from 12 pm until the time of the Memorial Services at 2 pm. A luncheon will follow the service.

< >Memorial contributions in memory of Frankie are asked to be directed to the family.

< >Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family.
