Eric Joseph Stone of Roscommon

Eric Joseph Stone, 21, of Roscommon passed away suddenly March 27, 2017 at McLaren Hospital-Flint.

Eric was born Sept. 5, 1995 at Huntsville, TX to Russel Allen and Mary Margaret (Zaker) Stone. He resided most of his life in Roscommon.

He was a 2015 graduate of Roscommon High School. He loved his family, especially his nieces, and his friends. He also enjoyed making people laugh.

Eric was a member of the Beacon Assembly of God and their Illuminations Youth Group.

Surviving are his parents, Mary and Rusty Stone; three sisters, Margaret (Toby) Langworthy, Christina Decker and Stephanie Washburn; five brothers, Michael (Alicia) Whiteford, Dennis McDonald, Steven Stone, Bradlee Stone, and Eric’ twin brother, Aaron ‘RD’ Stone; six nieces and two nephews; paternal grandmother, Erma Stone; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Whiteford; paternal grandfather, Russel Stone; maternal grandparents Mary and Zigmund Zaker and uncles, Nelson Kneip and Bob Zaker.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, March 31, 2017 at Beacon Assembly of God, Roscommon with Pastor Jason Shory officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the family.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon is serving the family.
