HOUGHTON LAKE – The Committee to Recall the Houghton Lake School Board is inviting people to come sign recall petitions against Kelly Christian and Mark Souder.
The recall language is as follows:
Kelly Christian / Mark Souder may have violated the Open Meetings Act by voting to hire a private investigator in a closed meeting without notice to the public. Kelly Christian / Mark Souder acted in an unprofessional manner by failing to notify the voters of the Houghton Lake Community Schools as to the hiring of a private investigator.
The Committee to Recall the Houghton Lake School Board Building is located at 2451 M-55 (Next to BP Station across from Travel Land) Building is open M, T, TH, FRI and SAT from noon to 7 p.m.
