WEST BRANCH – Hospice of Helping Hands invites you to attend our annual Wings of Hope Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, June 9 at 10 a.m.
The free event will take place in the Tolfree Wellness Park at MidMichigan Medical Center – West Branch (formerly West Branch Regional Medical Center). The special event is open to the public, and has been designed to assist friends, families and caregivers through the grieving and healing process.
The Wings of Hope ceremony includes a live butterfly release, photo slide show, and a memorial reading of names of those deceased whose loved ones would like to have remembered. This event also includes Hospice of Helping Hands patients who have passed between October 2017 and May 2018. If you would like to add names to the list for the memory reading, or add a photo, please contact Hospice of Helping Hands at 989-345-4700 to make those arrangements, by June 1.
‘Memorial services like this are an important part of the process of healing, and we are honored to be able to assist our patient families and the community in this manner,’ shares Sarah Parrott, Hospice of Helping Hands Bereavement Coordinator. ‘All of our memorial services are free and open to the public, and we encourage people to contact us so we can assist them in any way possible to cope with loss.’
