Colonel Scott Meyers would like to thank the Community Chamber Members who nominated him for Citizen of the Year. One of the nominations stated: “Colonel Scott Myers was instrumental in getting our National Guard base to become a multi-service base. All our U.S. Armed Forces can come train here. There’s only one other such base in the United States and that is in Mississippi. The benefits of having an ambitious leader who values local community connections, and he wants the support of Crawford County citizens is notable. He sees the big picture, has a progressive plan for improving the base and respects the long history the National Guard has here.” COL Meyers said, “Being nominated amongst such amazing people is the real honor!” Don’t forget to get your tickets to the Chamber Awards Gala coming up March 4th at the Kirtland Rec Center.
