Baby to Toddler Closet seeks receipts

GRAYLING – The Crawford County Baby to Toddler Closet (CB2T) has been open nine years. They are run by volunteers and love what they do, helping children.

CB2T helps by providing clean, nearly new, used clothes for parents to choose from. They also provide quilts, car seat covers, bibs and other baby items. They do purchase new items including diapers, personal items, tooth paste, brushes shampoo, baby oil etc., cribs, mattresses, under wear, socks, boots, boppie pillows, potty chairs, and safety gates.

Working with Family Fare’s Direct Your Dollars program, the nonprofit organization can earn $1,000, simply by collecting $150,000 in eligible receipts.

“We have done quite well by saving these receipts and would like to continue, so we can continue to help children that require the help,” said volunteer Rose Mary Nelson. “So I am asking if you would help as do this by saving your receipts for us.”

Receipts can be dropped off at the B2TC located in the basement of Michelson United Methodist Church 400 Michigan Avenue, Grayling. There are also donation boxes located at many Grayling businesses. Or, contact Rose Mary at 989-348-2985 and she will make arrangements to collect your receipts.

The Closet is open the first and the third Thursdays of each month from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. with the last customer welcomed at 5:30 p.m.
