Atlanta, Gaylord men facing drug charges after traffic stop

ROSCOMMON COUNTY — Troopers from the Michigan State Police Houghton Lake Post stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on northbound I-75 in Richfield Township at about 11:03 p.m. Feb. 2.

During the stop, troopers seized about 18 grams of suspected cocaine, police said. They also found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

The driver, 47-year-old Aaron Seitman of Atlanta, and the passenger, 43-year-old Shawn MacDonald of Gaylord, were arrested and lodged at the Roscommon County Jail.

Seitman and MacDonald were arraigned Feb. 4 in the 82nd District Court in Roscommon County on one count of Controlled Substance-Possession of Cocaine, Heroin or other Narcotic Less than 50 grams.

Their next court date is Feb. 18 at 9 a.m.
