Local high school graduates earn college honors

REGION– Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following student on being named to the Summer Dean’s List. The summer terms run from May to August.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean’s List.

SNHU also congratulates the following students on being named to the Summer President’s List. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List.

Gaylord student Rebecca Ross was recently named to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll. During the 2022-23 academic year, Ross was a member of Albion’s women’s basketball, women’s soccer and track and field teams. The MIAA Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who maintain a 3.5 grade-point average for the academic year and earn a varsity letter in a MIAA-sponsored sport. Ross graduated this past spring with a degree in biology with a minor in kinesiology-exercise science. Ross is a resident of Gaylord and is a graduate of Gaylord Community School.
