Snow and S’mores to benefit patient care

WEST BRANCH – MyMichigan Health Foundation is hosting a family-friendly Snow & S’mores event on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Zettel Farms, located at 3058 Green Road in West Branch.

Proceeds from the event benefit patient care at MyMichigan Medical Center West Branch.

The event includes sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and s’mores. After participating in one of the outdoor activities, guests can warm up by the outdoor heaters or bonfire pits and enjoy a hot cocoa or coffee. In addition, Highway Brewing Co., is offering tailgate-style food and beverages, which can be ordered for delivery by visiting www.highwaybrewingco.com, and clicking on ‘Order Now.’

Sleigh rides are available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and groups of up to 12 can reserve a private, half-hour, horse-drawn ride. The cost is $200 per group, and includes s’mores and hot cocoa at the outdoor fire pit after your ride.

Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for $10 per person.
