Weather forces village to leave water running

ROSCOMMON – Due to temperatures expected to dip as low as -12 degrees Fahrenheit tonight, as well as single-digit temps at night for the duration of the week, the Village of Roscommon issued an advisory to village residents asking them to leave their water running.

By leaving water running, it will prevent pipes from freezing in homes and businesses, as well as protect water mains.

According to village officials, residents will not be billed for extra water usage. Invoices will be adjusted to reflect the increased usage.
