Moms sale planned

ROSCOMMON – Friends Helping Friends Foundation is making final plans for its 14th Annual Mom’ to Mom’ Sale scheduled for Saturday, April 30. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Charles M Engel Post 4159 VFW Hall, across from the Roscommon Post Office.

This sale will include good reusable children’ clothing, toys, games, books, sporting equipment, baby items and furniture.

Spokesperson Barb Stauffer said in a release ‘This is a great opportunity for families to hold an inside garage sale all together in one room. Like a craft show or flea market, each participant will keep profits from their own sale. Remember, you will not have to clean out your garage, advertise, have people come to your home, etc., and its fun selling and trading your goods with one another.’

Table space is limited. A small fee will be charged with proceeds going into a fund to assist Roscommon-area families with children who are ill or have life-threatening conditions.

So, clean out your closets and make some money for yourself, and/or come and shop for bargains!

For more information, call Karen at Walper at 989-275-6014. We will also accept any donations of items, if you do not wish to participate in the sale.
