ROSCOMMON- For the past eight years, parishioners of Beacon Church of Roscommon have honored local first responders by serving a Good Friday breakfast. On April 3, volunteers welcomed 45 firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and VSU members for a warm meal and a chance to take a well-deserved break. Pastor Jason Shory, his wife Angel, and church volunteers say they look forward each year to thanking the men and women who faithfully serve the community. Beacon Church is a Pentecostal church located at 250 Lake Street in Roscommon, across from the post office.
