ROSCOMMON – The Roscommon County Community Foundation (RCCF) is thrilled to celebrate a powerful partnership with the Roscommon Rotary Club that delivered a major boost to scholarships for local graduating seniors!
Through a dynamic matching donation campaign led by the Rotary Club, an incredible $23,402 was raised for the Roscommon Rotary Club General Fund.
Community members stepped up with $11,701 in donations—an amount the Rotary Club matched dollar for dollar, showcasing their unwavering dedication to the future of Roscommon’s youth.
The results of this generosity were already on display at RCCF’s Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner, where five graduating seniors from Roscommon High School were honored with scholarships made possible by the Rotary Club’s support.
“This initiative was developed under the inspiring leadership of Roscommon Rotary Past President Cathy Erickson, whose vision and passion for student success guided the campaign,” said Heather Marra, Development Manager at RCCF. “It’s a shining example of how local partnerships can directly invest in the potential of our youth.”
Erickson added, “We believe in investing in the future of our community by supporting the dreams and ambitions of our young people. Growing our scholarship fund is one of the most meaningful ways we can make a lasting impact.
“By helping more students pursue further education, we’re not just opening doors for them—we’re strengthening the entire community.”
With a long-standing tradition of service and generosity, the Roscommon Rotary Club continues to fuel academic and professional dreams. Scholarships not only lighten the financial load of higher education—they empower students to reach their full potential.
This exciting collaboration is a testament to the incredible things that happen when local leadership and community spirit come together. RCCF invites anyone passionate about education to consider supporting or establishing a scholarship fund of their own.
