HOUGHTON LAKE – The Houghton Lake Chamber of Commerce is once again searching for their Tip Up Town Queen. If you are interested in becoming this year’s queen, you must fit the following requirements:
- Candidate must live or work in Roscommon County
- Candidate cannot be a prior Tip Up Town Queen
- Candidate must be knowledgeable about Houghton Lake and the charity of their choice
- Candidate must abide by rules and participate in numerous activities and parades
Applicants can apply at the Houghton Lake Chamber. 1625 W. Houghton Lake Dr. on M-55
This will be sponsored by Kabinette Koncepts. $1,000 will be given to the Queens charity and $500 for parade costs and other expenses.
A Queen Candidate dinner will take place at LJ Kilkare Restaurant in Houghton Lake on Thursday, 12-29 at 5:30 p.m. This will be an opportunity to meet and mingle with the judges. Any questions, you may call the Chamber at 989-366-5644
