ROSCOMMON – North Central Area Credit Union (NCACU) is a proud community member and reinvestment in community organizations is a high priority for our local branches. Each year, each branch selects one community charity to support through branch fundraising. In 2017, the Roscommon Branch chose ‘Shop with a Cop’ as its annual recipient.
Funds for the charity are generated through Casual for a Cause, where each employee pays to wear jeans on Friday. The credit union also hosts internal contests to raise additional funds plus the Credit Union matches the branch funds. This year, the Roscommon Branch of NCACU gave $1,781.51 to Shop With a Cop with more than $8,000 being donated across NCACU’ service area.
