Thanking a veteran

HALE- On Nov. 10, the American Legion and Auxiliary of Hale Post 422 went to the following six Rest Homes to honor 37 veterans who reside in them including, Hale Creek Manor, Tawas Village, Lakeview Manor, Medilodge, Iosco Medical Center, and Sherman Glenn Manor.

Each veteran was given a special hat that said, ” IF YOU LOVE YOUR FREEDOM THANK A VETERAN”. Special cards were given to the vets made by local Hale students.
