HALE- Just a week prior to the beginning of school, Hale High School held a band camp. This camp was headed by Music/Band teacher Sara Nowlin, for the members of the school band! The purpose of the camp was to teach the students different styles of marching, as well as commands and ice breakers to better know their fellow band members. Sharing smiles throughout the ice breaker games, the students participated in obstacle courses and beading their own sunglasses! Splitting off into pairs, the students had the opportunity to compete against the duos through the mastery of a particularly difficult march. Our winners consisted of Brooke Sheldon, a flutist, and Ellery Coleman, a trombonist.
With the release of the band’s performances, the dates consist of the following;

Homecoming Alumni Football – Oct. 6th

Varsity Volleyball – Oct. 12th
Basketball dates in January and February are yet to be determined

Community Veterans Day Concert (@American Legion) – Nov. 10th
School Veterans Day Concert (@Hale High School) – Nov. 10th
