HALE – The Plainfield Fire Department came into Hale Elementary School to teach the Kindergarten through fourth graders about fire safety. Fire safety is important to teach kids because of all the dangers of fire. They even make a whole week out of fire safety and bring in a fire truck, watch videos, and have a fire deputy come in and answer some of the kids’ questions. The kids loved seeing the fire trucks and asking all their questions.
