REGION – Baseball fans are invited to West Branch July 6-10 for the Michigan District 8 Little League 10–12-Year-Old All-Star Tournament. Teams from Alpena Huron Shore, West Branch, Traverse City, Gaylord, Roscommon-St. Helen, Boyne City, and Johannesburg-Lewiston will battle for the opportunity to advance to the Michigan Little League State Tournament in Tecumseh. Ogemaw County Sports Network will provide live coverage from Field One throughout the week. For several communities, this marks the return of an All-Stars team after several years, making the tournament an exciting opportunity for players, families, and fans to celebrate the growth of local baseball and showcase some impressive talent on the field.
