Bryan Miske, 67, of Beaverton

Bryan Scott Miske, age 67, of Beaverton, passed away on Saturday July 27, 2024. He was born on December 2, 1956, the son of Ronald and Linda Miske of Harrison. Bryan graduated in 1975 from Harrison High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army in August 1975. On December 27, 1975, Bryan married Teena Bard of Beaverton.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Bryan retired as a SFC after serving 20 years. He had 2 tours in Germany, a tour in Korea, as well as stateside duty as a drill instructor and tank commander. Bryan delighted in hunting, fishing, and passing his knowledge on to his grandchildren. He had a knack for fixing anything that was broken, always finding a way to make things work. Bryan’s passions also included motorcycles, guns, and baseball. Above all, he took immense pride in his family, cherishing his children and grandchildren.

Bryan is survived by his wife of 48 years: Teena; daughter: Elizabeth (Matthew) Rumfelt of Beaverton; son: Jeffrey (Christina) Miske of Saucier, MS; grandchildren: Mackenzie Miske, Greg Rumfelt, Hunter Rumfelt, Lana Miske, Brittney (Kyle) Hebert, and Jeffrey Miske; brother: Ron Miske; in-laws: Kevin and Nona Wells, Robin and Virginia Bard, Harlen S. Bard, and Toni Wentworth; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bryan is preceded in death by his parents: Ron and Linda Miske; in-laws: Harlen and Juanita Bard; and his great-granddaughter: Aiana Miske.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton. A second visitation will also be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
