GRAYLING – Wellington Farm Park USA has announced its fall activities, a corn maze, pumpkin chunkin’, Jack-o-lantern carving and contest, and Halloween hayrides pulled by a steam engine!
Corn Maze
The corn maze will continue through October as long as it is in good condition.
Full moon corn maze will be taking place at 8 – 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7 and Saturday, Oct. 8. Cost is $10.00 per person and a flashlight is recommended. The last group will go in at 9 p.m.
Hours for the maze are:
- Thursday: 2 – 5 p.m. (last entries at 4 p.m.)
- Friday & Saturday: 2 – 6 p.m. (last entries at 5 p.m.)
- Sunday: 2 – 4 p.m. (last entry at 3 p.m.)
30% of proceeds are being donated to the Alzheimer’s foundation. Fee is $8.50 per person.
Pumpkin Chunkin’ takes place Oct. 15 & 16 and Oct. 22 & 23. Cider and donuts will be available at the concession stand. Normal admission charges apply.
Jack-o-lantern carving contest
Jack-o-lantern carving contest will be taking place on Oct. 22 and 23. 1 – 5 p.m. in the pavilion. All Jack-o-lanterns will be displayed in our Jack-o-lantern Hayrides. Ages 3-100 are welcome to participate. There are five different age groups for prizes. Pumpkins and carving tools are provided.
Halloween Hayrides will take place on Oct. 28, 29 and 30. Cost is $7 per person; children 4 and under are free. Hayrides are by reservation only, call 989-348-5187 to reserve your spot. Rides begin at dusk. Spaces are limited so reserve yours early.
