Kreis named health system vice president of service lines

MIDLAND – Douglas Kreis, B.A., M.B.A., has been named system vice president of service lines for MyMichigan Health.

Kreis has worked for MyMichigan Health for 20 years. He has served as chief radiation therapist, director of diagnostic imaging, pain management and oncology services and, most recently, system service line director for neuroscience. As vice president of service lines, he will oversee the cardiovascular, oncology, musculoskeletal, behavioral health and neuroscience service lines throughout the health system.

“I enjoy working with staff and physicians to implement new programs and services that will advance our organization and meet our communities’ needs,” said Kreis. “Our service lines have matured; more and more we are becoming leaders in our industry, setting the tone for excellent health care delivery. I believe the future of MyMichigan Health is very bright.”

Kreis graduated from Siena Heights University with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Allied Health (Radiation Therapy) and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from William Howard Taft University.

He has been married to wife Nancy for 23 years. They have a son Michael who is a high school sophomore. Outside of work, Kreis spends time with family and friends enjoying the outdoors. He is also a busy hockey and baseball dad.
