Bark in the Park benefits the animal shelter

ROSCOMMON – Self-proclaimed Mayor of Higgins Lake, Wade, a black lab, and his Chief of Staff, Pat Clemens are hosting Bark in the Park Sept. 3 at Markey Township Park.

From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., pups, and their humans, will take a lap around the park to benefit Wade’s friends at the Roscommon Animal Shelter. There will be prizes and gifts. Donations will be accepted and will go directly to the Roscommon Animal Shelter.

Wade asks that only friendly and socialized dogs attend, and remind them they must remain on their leash. He also asks that the humans pick up after the pup along the way.

For more information you can contact Pat Clemens at 313-319-4715. You can find Wade on Facebook and Instagram.
