Two area residents trained for and received upgraded “belts” as they follow their martial arts journey. According to Wiki, The “dan” ranking system is used by many Japanese, Okinawan, and Korean martial art organizations to indicate the level of a person’s ability within a given system.” Classes meet on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. at the CRAF Center in Roscommon, located at 606 Lake Street in Roscommon.
