Learning how to build a canoe

ROSCOMMON – The AuSable River Center in Roscommon is hosting its annual wooden canoe class on the second floor of the
facility. More than 20 people are participating in the class, where volunteer
instructors teach students how to construct a canoe from scratch, made of
local hardwoods such as cedar. Once completed the canoe will be auctioned
off to raise money on behalf of the center.
