Good afternoon Michigan!
We are seeking veterans with a story to share about their time in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Merchant Marines or Coast Guard.
We’ll be posting a culmination of everyone’s service related stories from across Northern Michigan on Nov. 11, Veteran’s Day.
If you are interested, please email your note or story with a photo (or just a photo if you want to run that) to mconstance@upnorthvoice.com no later than Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. If you are a family member of a deceased veteran, we would be honored to include a photo and their time of service.
In case you struggle a bit with your writing skills, send your story over regardless. We will gently edit it and send it back to you for your review before we post it.
At the point we already have four submitted stories and several commitments. Whether it’s about basic training, permanent party, your buddies, overseas, after you got out, (and happy or sad) we are looking forward to reading what everyone sends in. And remember, it’s your story. Tell it like you saw it.
