Fourth awakens in Beaverton

BEAVERTON – Many events are scheduled for America’ birthday in Beaverton, themed 4th of the Jedi: The Fourth Awakens.

Monday begins with an annual community pancake breakfast at the First Presbyterian Church from 8:30 to 10 a.m. The parade line up begins at 10 a.m. at the Beaverton Elementary School parking lot. Judges will choose winners among the Star Wars themed floats. The parade steps-off onto M-18 with Grand Marshals Brian and Barbara Rowland.

Following the parade, from 2 to 9 p.m., Beaverton’ Amanda Kari along with Gabe Couch, Katy Lee, David ‘Louisiana Cowboy’ Dickerson, Robyn Marriott, will provide live music in the park. Then at dusk, the firework show begins.
