Roscommon – Township Supervisor Bill Curnalia of Higgins Township received a $2,025 façade grant from the Roscommon Downtown Development Authority (DDA) for a new covered roadside sign at 700 South Fifth Street. The DDA partners with downtown property owners in order to enhance the downtown area. Matching funds are available for commercial façade improvements with a reimbursement of 50% up to $5,000 for an approved storefront renovation.
