Three area NCACU branches show-off new remodels

REGION – Three North Central Area Credit Union branches recently welcomed clients and potential customers to show the major remodeling of the Grayling, Houghton Lake and Roscommon offices.

Staff from the Roscommon NCACU celebrated their newly designed building Thursday, Sept. 28. There was a brief ribbon cutting ceremony as well as branch tours, food and games.

The Grayling and Houghton Lake NCACU branches also underwent major renovations and held opening celebration this past week, said NCACU Director of Marketing Tracy Wilson.

Wilson said about 100 credit union members attended the Roscommon branch opening. Among employees at the Roscommon event were Roscommon branch manager, Dar Stead-Smith and mortgage coordinator, Mark Church.

Wilson said about 100 people attended the Roscommon NCACU event. The first 50 members were given ‘swag bags’ with NCACU promotional items.

Also recently renovated was the NCACU Standish branch. In addition to welcoming members to see the renovations, Standish branch employees hosted a ‘Meet the Manager’ Lobby Day to welcome new branch manager Jennifer Eubank.

Construction for the branches started in April of 2017, however, the planning and preparation took a couple of years,” Wilson said. “We remodeled because we needed to update our buildings and that provided the ideal time to create one brand that represents the spirit of NCACU.”

According to Wilson, the remodeling for Roscommon, Grayling and Houghton Lake will be wrapping up in October.

We appreciate the patience of our staff and members during this process and feedback has been very positive, it was good to celebrate together,’ Wilson said.
