REGION- When a frightened animal arrives at Wacky Wilson Farm, it isn’t met with judgment or a deadline — only safety, food, and a promise of lifelong care. This small 501(c)(3) rescue sanctuary in Marion, Michigan exists for animals who have suffered neglect, abuse, or abandonment, giving them a second chance and a safe place to finally rest. As the cost of feed, utilities, and veterinary care continues to rise, the farm faces increasing challenges. In some cases, rescuing an animal even requires paying fees to remove it from neglectful situations.
How You Can Help
Every donation directly supports the animals’ daily care, including food, medical treatment, and shelter maintenance. Volunteers are always needed for feeding, cleaning, fencing, and general farm help. Even sharing the farm’s story makes a meaningful difference.

This summer, families will be able to visit the farm and meet the residents — including horses, miniature ponies, alpacas, donkeys, and even a Scottish Highland cow — when the petting zoo opens to the public.
