ROSCOMMON COUNTY- The Roscommon County Genealogical Society will host a four-week “Writing Life Stories” class on Thursdays, June 4, 11, 18 and 25, from 5-7 p.m. at the Research and Education Center, 1840 W. Houghton Lake Drive in Prudenville, next to Splash n Dash Car Wash. Cost is $5 to cover materials.

Storytelling connects families, preserves history, and shares the experiences that shape our lives and communities. Every person has a unique story worth telling, and this class will help participants learn how to record memories, experiences, and family history for future generations.

Whether your goal is to leave a legacy for your family, preserve treasured memories, or simply learn the art of storytelling, this class offers a chance to turn your life experiences into something meaningful and lasting.

Your story is one only you can tell, and someone may be waiting to hear it.
